Bright Dyes Water Tracing Dye - 200 Tablets

Bright Dyes® Tablets are clean and easy to use, with no measuring required. They are safe, non-toxic, and biodegradable and certified to NSF International Standard 60, making them safe to use in potable water. Bright Dyes® is committed to creating products that are safe for water life and that help us further our water conservation efforts. Bright Dyes® Tablets have a moderate rate of dispersion and work best with small volumes of water (less than 20,000 gallons).

Tracing Dye Colors:

  • • RED: High heat stability, best for closed loop application. Perfect contrast to green waters, high lightfastness.
  • • ORANGE: Offer a high contrast, vivid to the naked eye, & fluorescent under a UV light. The concentrated color shines orange, and fluoresces a bright yellow.
  • • BLUE: Specially formulated using an Acid Blue 9 for visual detection.
  • • YELLOW: Specially formulated versions of Xanthene dye and are the traditional fluorescent water tracing & leak detection materials. May be detected visually, by UV light & by appropriate fluorometric equipment. Visually the yellow tracer dye appears fluorescent yellow/green, depending on its concentration & under UV light as lime green.
